9. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you visit the website, the host processes technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, page visited, browser type) in order to provide the website securely and reliably. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation). A data processing agreement has been concluded with the host.

10. Enquiry form and photo uploads

If you contact us via the enquiry form, we process the data you provide (category, description, optional photos, name, email address, optional phone number, optional preferred date for your visit and a voluntary rating of our website) in order to handle your enquiry. The information is transmitted via an encrypted connection and delivered to us by email; you receive an automatic confirmation at the email address provided. Uploaded photos are cleaned of metadata (e.g. location data) before sending and are not stored permanently on the web server. To prevent abuse, anonymised check values (hashes, no plain-text IP addresses) are stored briefly and discarded after 24 hours at the latest. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you can withdraw at any time.

11. Cookies

This website does not use analytics or marketing cookies and no tracking. For the security of the enquiry form (protection against abusive requests), a technically necessary session cookie is set when the form is opened; it is deleted when you close your browser. In addition, your browser’s session storage (sessionStorage) records whether you have already closed the WhatsApp notice. This entry is not transmitted to us and is deleted when you close the tab.

12. Google Maps

On our website you can load a map from Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). The map is only loaded when you actively click “Load map”. Only then is data such as your IP address transferred to Google; a transfer to the USA is possible. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. 13. Links to WhatsApp, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook

Our website contains links to WhatsApp, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Google reviews. These are simple links, not embedded content. Only when you click a link are you forwarded to the respective provider, who then processes data under its own responsibility. Please refer to the privacy notices of the respective providers.

14. Fonts and right to lodge a complaint

All fonts are hosted locally on our server; no connection is made to Google Fonts servers.
